THANK YOU

Our family wants to thank all of the BAGMA members for all of the prayers, cards, visits, money donations etc. that you have sent to Brandon this last year and a half.

He has completed his Chemo/ radiation and is now a Cancer survivor. He is still in physical/ speech/ot  therapy 4 days a week at Texas Children’s Hospital.

He is still blind (not total darkness)  crippled, and is being fed every 4 hours by a feeding tube. He is taking lots of meds in the tube. He should get the port out of his chest soon. He still has good attitude. He loves to play UNO and can see the numbers/colors real close to his eyes.

He and his Dad go to all of the ASTROS games that they can. He can't see the game but his Dad tells him all of the plays. He has  met lots of the players.

We are trying to purchase a used wheelchair accessible van. If anyone knows of one for sale please get in touch with us. We are having a hard time locating one. Thanks to all of you who came out to the benefit. I was really pleased to see you all.

One of the Docs told us last year that Brandon would not make it through his radiation/chemo treatments. I said at the time my GOD is still in the miracle business

The eye doctor said the brain was so damaged that he would never see again. She was so shocked when we went last week and he could see some of the colors and large letters. I told her we had ask for miracle and she said looks like you got it. We're still asking for one that he will walk again. Please keep him and our family in your prayers. We still have a long battle ahead.

Thanks again for those who made the trip to Corpus last year while we were there for those three and half months. I hope I don't miss some of you. Myron/Wilma Morrison, Bruce/Connie Northam,, Tootsie/ Duane Dann , Micha, Ray/Donna/Josh Walker, Tina/Gary Holmes, Steven Hammock and Ken Durham.

Thanks to all of you who are still calling me to check on Brandon. Our lives changed forever in February 2010. Hold those grand kids close and tell them you love them as often as you can.

I don't know how non believers get through times likes these. This is the hardest thing we have every gone through. But God is in control.
